Recent Print Awards

2006

The 2006 Florida Print awards were another point of pride for Rapid Press. A full 18 of the 20 pieces entered in the 19th Annual Florida Print Awards were awarded honors. Again this year, Rapid Press had one of the highest percentages of awards to entries state wide.

Eight of our entries were Best of Category in the state of Florida for 2006, and 4 of those 8 are what brought back National Premier Print Awards at the Benny's—the national printing competition affectionately called the “Benny's” after Benjamin Franklin.

Rapid Press would like to thank all of our valued clients who trust us with their most important and challenging print jobs. Without your faith in our ability and skill we would not have the caliber of work it takes to be a recognized state and national competitor.

2005

On July 30th representatives from Rapid Press, Inc. went to the 18th Annual Florida Print Awards ceremony for the 2005 Premier Print Awards hosted in Orlando by the Printers Association of Florida (PIA) and the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (GATF).

Of the 18 entries made by Rapid Press, Inc. 15 were awarded high honors by the panel of distinguished judges. In order to be as impartial as possible all judges for this competition are from outside the state of Florida. Rapid Press had one of the highest percentages of entries to wins of all the firms attending the ceremony.

The awards were: 5 “Best of Category” for first place entries; 6 “Award of Excellence” for second place entries; 3 “Judges Award” for third place entries.

One of the first place entries was in the Printer's Self Advertising category for the back cover ad developed for the back cover of this year's GATF Addy Awards held earlier this year in Tallahassee.

Rapid Press, Inc. will be presenting copies of these awards to their clients in the near future.
