LETTERS
Letter-size mail can be anything from a simple postcard to a multi-sheet stuffed envelope. Letter-size mail should be no smaller than 5" x 3.5", no larger than 11.5" x 6.125", and no thicker than 0.25". |
FLATS
"Flat" is the USPS term for a mailpiece that is larger/thicker than a letter. Things like magazines, catalogs, and 9x12 or 10x13 envelopes are all flats. Flats should be larger than 11.5" long, 6.125" tall, or 0.25" thick. They can be no larger than 15" long, 12" tall, and 0.75" thick. |
